Assetz Capital has announced that it has joined the lender committee of the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA).

The new trade body for finance professionals has teamed up with Assetz Capital to deliver greater support to them by providing training, guidance and assistance to help benefit their clients.

Assetz Capital has lent over £435m since it was established in 2012.

FIBA’s lender committee – which currently has 10 other lenders – was launched in December 2017 to offer intermediaries access to a network of lenders as well as expert industry advice.

“Joining the FIBA lender committee further demonstrates our commitment to the intermediary market and raising awareness about alternative finance with business borrowers,” said Damien Druce, director and head of intermediary sales at Assetz Capital (pictured above).

“We are delighted to be working with Adam [Tyler] and the team at FIBA, who share our passion for intermediary engagement and education.”

Adam Tyler, executive chairman at FIBA, added: “Assetz Capital is a strong addition to the FIBA lender committee, providing a different voice from specialist property finance that can only enhance our discussions.”
