Together has announced a new partnership with Legal & General Mortgage Club.

The partnership will see the specialist lender expand its distribution of finance products to L&G’s mortgage club of over 6,000 registered brokers.

L&G’s brokers will now have access to a range of specialist buy-to-let mortgages and bridging finance products.

Together will also be offering its first charge residential mortgages of up to £1m through this channel.

These products are available with capital and interest-only options, no valuation or lender’s legal fees and options including five-year fixed rates.

Mortgage club members can access Together’s online portal My Broker Venue, where they can submit cases.

Richard Tugwell, group intermediary relationship director at Together (pictured above), said: “The specialist lending market is seeing strong growth as more and more customers find themselves falling short of the mainstream criteria for a whole host of reasons, and that’s where we can help.

“We’re delighted to be on the panel for Legal & General and look forward to introducing their brokers to our specialist products and our tailored service.”

Danny Belton, head of lender relationships at Legal & General, added: “It is important for the Legal & General Mortgage Club to provide access to a range of lenders across all mortgage sectors to our members.

“As the specialist sector continues to grow, it is great to be able to strengthen our proposition by adding new lenders such as Together on to our panel.

“Together is recognised as a strong player in the specialist lending sector and will be a welcome addition to our offering.”
