The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has issued a law firm Executive with a closure decision after he failed to comply with regulations.

Mr Robin Frederick Clark of Robin F Clark & Co, based at 183A Parrock Street, Gravesend, Kent, who according to Company Check was the firm’s Executive, was found to have failed to comply with the SRA Principles 2011 and the Solicitors Accounts Rules 2011.

The solicitor firm, which specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, claims its  customers can “…always be sure of receiving a friendly, honest and thorough service, delivered in plain English rather than legalese.”

The regulator believed it was necessary to execute its powers to protect the interests of Robin Fredrick Clark’s former and potential clients, along with beneficiaries of any trust which he was a trustee.

The SRA was satisfied that there were grounds to intervene under the Solicitors Act 1974. Interventions prevent the solicitor from acting on behalf of its clients. This can be conducted even if the regulator is yet to have made findings against the individual.

Susie Dryden of Blake Morgan LLP, New Kings Court, Tollgate, Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, was appointed as the intervening agent and all enquiries should be made to her by emailing [email protected] .
