B&C reveals the latest results of the Fantasy Football competition sponsored by Masthaven.

While revealing the Managers of the Month for the action packed October, November and December, Richard Deacon, Sales and Marketing Manager of Masthaven Bridging Finance has revealed Dean Brown and his team Mr Bravos Legs are still winning the overall league by 24 points.

Scott Wackrow and his team Two Lengths are in hot pursuit of Brown, trailing by only 20 points with Richard Deacon’s Football Club FC a further 26 points behind but still in touching distance.

In the busy festive period of the Masthaven Fantasy Football League, there were plenty of points up for grabs and it was Gary Spencer’s Sons of the Desert team which seized the advantage claiming 18 more points than his rivals in December.

Darren Willoughby’s Poetry in Motion won a closely fought November only finishing nine points ahead of the chasing pack.

However, Lee Hemming’s impressive Lee’O’tard Unitard stormed through October, claiming that month’s prize by a comprehensive 20 point margin.

Commenting on the latest results, Richard Deacon says that it is still all to play for in a very competitive league.

“Any of the top 15 or so could still win, as a 100 point gap although sounding big, can be raked back within weeks IF the choices of players and of course captains are right,” he said.

“Dean Brown and his team MR BRAVOS LEGS XI have a 20 point lead currently and he has done well over the busy festive period, but Scott Wackrow and his “two lengths” are in hot pursuit!!”

January is a significant month for all those involved as a second transfer wildcard is now available due to the hectic transfer window so managers need to use it wisely.

Good luck to all those involved over what should be a closely fought period as the race for the main prize, two tickets to the FA Cup Final, hots up.
