ASTL hits target with new addition

The Association of Short Term Lenders has hit its membership target for the year, following the addition of accountancy firm, Wilkins Kennedy LPP.

The Association of Short Term Lenders has hit its membership target for the year following the addition of Accountancy firm, Wilkins Kennedy LPP.

This increases the ASTL’s membership to 28 and the associate membership numbers to 16 therefore achieving the target set at the beginning of the financial year.

The accountancy firm has been in the accounting and business advisory services industry since 1882 and Managing Partner at Wilkins Kennedy LLP, Stephen Grant, said that being a member will help provide them with greater familiarity of the issues in the short term and bridging markets.

“We believe that it is essential for anyone providing insolvency services to have detailed understanding of the specific environment in which the ASTL members operate,” he said.

“We have extensive experience of dealing with all sorts of problems such as planning issues, covenant breaches, neighbour and boundary disputes, party wall disputes, contamination problems and tree preservation orders to name a few.”

Chief executive of the ASTL, Benson Hersch, said that the award winning chartered accountancy and business advisory will add to the diversity of member firms that the association represents.

“We trust that Wilkins Kennedy LLP will provide the industry the technical expertise and insight required in managing challenges encountered,” he said.

“This mirrors our aim to continue to add value to our members while raising the standards of the bridging industry.”
