Secure Trust Bank announces new regional heads

The real estate finance division of Secure Trust Bank has promoted Andy Clutterbuck (pictured above) as regional head for the Midlands and South, and John Griffin as regional head of London and the South East.

They will lead teams based in Reading and London with a total of 15 relationship directors, focusing on deal origination and management of the bank’s existing loan book.

They will also sit on the division’s executive committee.

Andy and John — who have over 40 years of experience in real estate finance together — joined the company in 2019, having both previously worked at NatWest Bank.

Geoff Ray, managing director of the real estate finance arm at Secure Trust, said: “Andy and John’s appointments recognise the valuable contribution they have made to the business since joining us two years ago.

“Between them, they have a wealth of experience in real estate finance and are well respected among clients and peers alike.

“I’m looking forward to working with Andy and John more closely in their new roles as we continue to grow the real estate finance business across the UK.”

In 2020, the division saw revenues increase by 10.4% to £54m, with the team’s balance sheet growing by 9.3%, exceeding £1bn for the first time.
