Snowball expands advisory offering with launch of Snowball Group

Alternative finance consultancy business Snowball Alternative Finance has created the Snowball Group, an independent advisory business that aims to create long-term value, and provide strategic, financial and growth advice to businesses, entrepreneurs and property concerns.

The new advisory services include:

  • strategic advisory — planning, mentoring and management services
  • debt advisory — advice on raising, refinancing or restructuring debt
  • international trade advisory — trade finance support to importers and exporters
  • financial advisory — financial projections and modelling services
  • growth services — SEIS and EIS advisory services.

This expertise adds to the existing Snowball Alternative Finance offering, which provides an end-to-end service to source business finance for SMEs, and has access to more than 250 lenders and is directly authorised by the FCA.

Commenting on the news, Peter Black, chief executive at Snowball Group (pictured above, right), said: “There can be no doubt that this year has been one of the most challenging that businesses and entrepreneurs have ever faced.

“Even putting aside the obvious and major health and social issues, the amount of uncertainty and change means it is even more important for businesses to take on board expert help and advice — this is where Snowball comes in.

“We utilise our passion, expertise and experience to provide businesses with the best advice for their strategic, financial and growth needs.

“We have a highly experienced team of talented people, who have a proven track record, and are experts in their field, with a deep range of skills.”

Snowball Alternative Finance launched in early 2019 by Peter and North West entrepreneur, Alwin Thompson (left).

The group operates from its head office in Cheshire, and is currently working with companies in a range of sectors including healthcare, online retail, property development, manufacturing, financial services, technology and infrastructure.
