Pluto Finance lends over £100m in first week of December

Specialist lender Pluto Finance closed a record-breaking amount of loans totalling over £100m in the first week of December.

This included a development exit bridging loan in Bracknell and an acquisition bridging deal for a Leeds office building, in addition to development funding for office-to-residential schemes in Buckinghamshire and Essex.

Pluto plans to increase its bridging lending in 2020.

“While [other lenders may] already [be] lost in the fog of Christmas lunches and arguing over who will get the Savills’ salmon this year, the Pluto team has once again knuckled down and delivered a large volume of complicated financing to extremely tight deadlines,” said Mario Ioannides, lending director at Pluto Finance (pictured above).

“I am particularly proud that over £90m of these loans have been to repeat Pluto borrowers, recognising the excellent customer service, pricing and flexibility that Pluto offers.”

Pluto recently appointed Chris Scott as a lending director and also revamped its bridging lending product range.
