Octopus promotes D'mitri Zaprzala to head of residential

Octopus Real Estate has promoted D’mitri Zaprzala (pictured above, left) to the newly created role of head of residential.

D’mitri will be responsible for all residential lending across Octopus Real Estate and focus on continuing to improve customer service as well as building the sales team.

Currently, the residential lending business provides residential bridging loans, bridge-to-let loans, refurbishment loans and BTL mortgages.

His most recent role at the specialist real estate investor was head of sales, a position he held for four years.

In addition, Dan Murray (right) has been promoted to the role of head of sales.

Dan was previously head of London sales — a position he held for the past two years — and will be responsible for running a team of BDMs in addition to supporting borrowers in the residential, commercial and development lending sectors across the UK.

“D’mitri has already made a huge contribution to our business, particularly having led our successful Octopus Real Estate sales team over the last few years,” said Benjamin Davis, CEO at Octopus Real Estate.

“Residential lending is an important part of our business and the newly created role acknowledges our commitment to this sector.

“We are known for our exceptional customer service, and D’mitri and his team will ensure that residential borrowers will continue to receive the best in the industry.”

D’mitri added: “As a non-bank lender, we have a commitment to our borrowers and introducers to act quickly and be flexible in response to market influences.

“Having witnessed the evolution of Octopus Real Estate over the last decade, I am looking forward to both the challenges and opportunities of leading the residential part of the business.”
