Brightstar reports record H1 with 21% increase in business

The Brightstar Group has reported record results for the first half of the year with business written in H1 2019 increasing by 21% compared with H1 2018.

Elsewhere, turnover rose by 17% at the specialist distributor, with profits increasing by 15% in the same period.

It will also strengthen its team with James Oakley set to be added to its BTL division and Jordan Constanti set to join its commercial division.

In addition, Sirius Property Finance witnessed a 46% increase in turnover in H1 2019 compared with the same period last year and plans to have larger offices in both Manchester and London.

Rob Jupp, CEO at the Brightstar Group (pictured above), said: “It’s been a really incredible first six months of the year for Brightstar.

“We have continued to smash records in growing our business, relaunched our Private Label proposition and set new standards for an employer in our sector in the Sunday Times Best Company to Work For awards

“And all this has been set against a market that has been dampened by the looming threat of Brexit.

“It’s a really great achievement and testament to the hard work and commitment of our team.

“We are in a strong position and looking forward to the future.

“We also haven’t ruled out any competitor acquisitions and are well placed to make the move if we feel it is right because of our prudent management.”
