Impact Specialist Finance reports 10% increase in applications following rebrand

Impact Specialist Finance has seen a circa 10% increase in applications at the start of this year compared with 2018.

This followed the specialist mortgage packager rebranding from All Types of Mortgages (AToM) in January.

Speaking to Bridging & Commercial at the recent Property Investor Show at the ExCeL in London, Dale Jannels, managing director at Impact Specialist Finance (pictured above), stated that things had been “fantastic” since the rebrand.

“I was very apprehensive about changing a 28-year-old brand that was well known in the marketplace.

“But, actually, it's gone the other way … it's reinvigorated the whole company.

“We've got a brand new name, we've got amazing colours — [there’s] so much more that we can do with the brand.

“Now we're Impact — which stands for Intermediary Mortgage Packaging and Creative Technology — so we do everything from the packaging side right through to the technology side.

“We're making brokers’ [lives] really simple and straightforward.

“And I would say, right now, we've probably had the best start [to] a year for about five years.

“I would say our [applications] are up, probably about 10% at the moment, give or take … from last year.”

Dale added that Brexit was helping due to the confusion it had created.

“…We're getting a load of expats buying back in the UK at the moment, because they're worried about what's going to happen when they come back.”
