Jamie Baggaley (pictured above) has created J&J Commercial Finance, which aims to help local businesses find the right lending solutions to match their growth objectives.
J&J Commercial Finance will advise on financial products, including commercial mortgages, bridging finance, development finance, business loans, asset and invoice finance.
The broker will work with SMEs ranging from start-ups through to established businesses.
Jamie – who has 13 years of experience in corporate banking – said he had seen how the banks had changed since the credit crunch.
“Through my experience of working with major banks, such as Halifax and Lloyds, I’ve seen how both sides of the bank work, from managing a brand to working in central functions, supporting specialist divisions.

“This has enabled me to set out our value proposition to managing directors and finance teams who are responsible for performance and insight, as I have seen first-hand the challenges they face, and how important it is for them to be able to access the services of a knowledgeable and straight-talking commercial finance broker.”
Jamie added that setting up J&J Commercial Finance allowed him to work with customers again and utilise his network of trusted partners.
“At J&J Commercial Finance, we work with businesses to find the right lending solutions for them.
“We are an independent commercial finance broker that has access to over 250 lenders.
“With such a broad range of finance options, we are able to create the right package for our customers.
“Looking into the future, I hope to expand the business and employ more people, meaning that we can continue to support SME business across the Sheffield city region and continue to provide them with our personal and professional service.”
