Lending Works adds three new board members

Lending Works has made three additions to its board of directors.

The P2P lending platform has welcomed Simon Waugh, Paul Noble and Melanie Goward to its board as it looks to continue to widen its portfolio and develop new products for customers.

The three new board members will bring market-leading expertise to Lending Works to help assist with its growth.

Paul is the CEO of Honeycomb Finance – a Pollen Street Capital business – where he implements customer-focused strategies.

Melanie is an investment director at Maven Capital Partners and brings a wealth of innovation and technology-based expertise to Lending Works.

At Maven Capital Partners, she mainly focuses on growth challenges for SMEs and has helped them to fundraise.

Meanwhile, Simon – a former chairman of CMC Markets – is a highly experienced senior executive with a track record of delivering shareholder value and customer service quality.

“Looking at Lending Works’ history and impressive growth over the last five years, I am thrilled to be joining its board of directors.

“The company has the potential to change how consumers access finance, making the industry fairer.

“I look forward to being part of a very exciting future for Lending Works.”

Nick Harding, CEO and co-founder of Lending Works (pictured above, right), said that this was an exciting time for the company.

“We’re targeting huge growth and want the best-of-the-best on our board to advise us.

“Each new member brings diverse knowledge and expertise that will support us in reinventing UK consumer finance and becoming the leader in fair finance.”
