Elysium completes its largest bridging loan

Elysium Bridging has completed its largest bridging loan so far after it provided a £910,000 facility in less than five days.

The principal lender – which launched last year – supported the purchase of a property in one of the most exclusive parts of Glasgow.

The buyer was under pressure to complete as they had been let down by a previous lender.

Elysium decided to step in and completed the £910,000 deal in just under five days from first phone call to drawdown of funds at 70% LTV for a six-month term.

Following a higher than expected valuation, Elysium upped its loan amount by £70,000 to help the borrower with their cash flow.

“Once again, we have proven that we are easily one of the best lenders out there for speed, flexibility and quality of service,” said Leigh Goodman, director at Elysium Bridging.

“In this current, highly competitive market, lenders need to be able to be nimble and flexible in their approach to get the deals done – and Elysium [is] determined to provide the very best possible service to all our brokers and clients.”
