MarketInvoice appoints two new vice presidents

Peer-to-peer (P2P) lender MarketInvoice has named its two new vice presidents.

Former Deutsche Bank trader Neha Mittal (pictured above) joins as VP of finance and strategy, having already spent three months as a strategy consultant at MarketInvoice in 2016.

Meanwhile, ex-Experian manager Gavin Sumner (pictured below) has been promoted to VP of sales following seven months as head of sales at the company.

The personnel boost comes amid plans to double its lending to £2bn of invoice finance in 2017.

Anil Stocker, CEO and co-founder of MarketInvoice, said: “It is a pleasure to work with people who care so deeply about our mission to serve UK businesses, and we are happy to be able to promote internally as well as bring in the best talent into these new positions.

“Both Neha and Gavin have knowledge and experience of the challenges that lie ahead as we scale up and we are confident they can make a real impact here.

“These new appointments will strengthen MarketInvoice’s ability to create new products, deliver the best-in-class customer service, and support businesses across the country.”

Last month, MarketInvoice revealed it had broken its funding record during the first quarter of 2017.

The lender recently launched a new commission structure offering commercial finance brokers a 40% share of its first-year subscription fee.
