Borro launches panel of luxury asset lending partners

Borro has launched a panel of its top luxury asset lending partners who will get access to a host of benefits.

These include exclusive rates for their clients, higher commission rates for referrals and individual training for their team.

Panel members will also get a designated Borro team member for all enquiries and clients as well as access to special luxury asset events and other incentives. 

Claire Barrington-Jones, senior vice-president of group sales, said it had seen many of its partners look to alternative forms of finance given some of the challenges in the market at present.

“I’m hearing while the property market is still very strong, it’s certainly quieter and people are sitting and waiting to see what might happen when we Brexit. 

“In the property market particularly, we are seeing people use luxury assets as top-ups for bridging lending where there have been shifts in values or where lenders have reduced LTV.”

Claire concluded by adding: “We are very aware that lending against a classic car or a painting might be very different from the bread and butter people deal with daily. 

“We want to ensure our partners feel educated on our offering and feel they have the confidence to offer our services to the right clients and we are committed to an extensive training plan with all the partners on our preferred panel.”
