1. How long have you been at Paxton Private Finance?
The firm has been established for 1 year.
2. What did you want to be when you were younger?
In the Army.
3. If you could do anything this weekend what would it be?
Attend my Grandfathers 90th birthday celebrations in New Zealand.
4. Do you support a particular football team?
Liverpool, although being a New Zealander rugby is my passion.
5. What is the best aspect of your job?
Finding a solution for clients’ financial requirements,
B&C: And the worst?
Clients’ unrealistic expectations.
6. If you could choose an alternative career what would it be?
Having recently established Paxton Private Finance, I am excited by the future.
7. Where’s your favourite place in the world?
Any place where the sun shines.
8. If you could swap lives with one person for a day who would it be? And why?
David Cameron, I am interested in the workings of Government, and have always wanted see what is behind that door!
9. What would you put in room 101 if you had the chance?
Unnecessary financial regulation. And celery.
10. What do you expect to happen in the short term lending industry over the next 12 months?
With the continued pressures on the traditional banking sector and its reluctance to lend to the property market, short-term finance, and in particular private finance, will continue to provide a much needed alternative funding source.
