NACFB announces Commercial Finance Expo

Thursday 18th March 2010

The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) has announced that it is launching its first Commercial Finance Expo, which will combine with the association’s annual conference and include a number of member speakers.

Held at the NEC on the 30th of June 2010, it has been described as an ideal opportunity for commercial finance brokers to meet with lenders and funders who are active in the market.

Adam Tyler, chief executive of the NACFB, said that the event has arisen from the association’s popular ‘Meet the Patron’ networking days, which have been running over the last three years.

He said: “There are different events which cover some aspects of the commercial finance industry, but I wanted to do something that had representatives from Asset Finance, Commercial Mortgages, Buy to Let, Vehicle Finance and Factoring all under one roof.”

The association has revealed that it already has 30 exhibitors signed up to attend, having launched to its Patrons just two weeks ago.

The lenders exhibiting will also ensure that their underwriters are present, in order for brokers to discuss individual cases.

Adam Tyler added: “There have been so many negative headlines and we all know how tough the market has been for the last couple of years, so I am hoping that this is really something which will help to kick start confidence and instill more of a feel good factor than we’ve had of late.”

To register to attend or to exhibit, lenders and intermediaries have been pointed towards http://www.commercialfinanceexpo.co.uk/
