NACFB brokers take home awards

Thursday 28th May 2009

Members of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) have celebrated a hat trick with the winners of the 2009 Business Moneyfacts Awards.

The winners of all three broker categories - and the Lifetime Achievement Award - were Association members.

The three broker categories - Bridging Finance Broker of the Year, Asset Based Finance Broker of the Year and Commercial Mortgage Broker of the Year – were introduced for the first time this year, and were won by NACFB member firms Commercial Property Finance Consultancy Limited, Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions and B&P Finance Consultants, respectively. The Lifetime Achievement Award was won by former NACFB president and managing director of Mortgages for Business, David Whittaker.

Editor of Business Moneyfacts, Lee Tillcock, said: “This is the first year we have run broker awards as part of the ceremony. Assessment was not only based on profitability (sales volumes, value of transactions) but also by a wider understanding of specific sectors and client’s needs. The winners demonstrated a commitment to excellence that will serve them well during the next year. Congratulations!”

Chief executive of the NACFB, Adam Tyler, said: “The fact that all the broker award winners were NACFB members proves that Association brokers are among the best in the market! These awards are a ringing endorsement for the good work our members are doing and the high standards they work to. I would like to offer my congratulations to all of them.”
