Football fan paints the house to show England support

Most England fans wear a football shirt to show their support - but one has covered the front of his house with a mural to back the team.

Lee Bray, 34, asked graffiti artists Stae and Cheo to work their magic on the property in the Knowle West area of Bristol.

He said: "The local community has all pulled together and the streets are covered with flags and bunting and I just thought I'd do something different.

"People are coming from all over Bristol to take photos of the house. I really believe England can go all the way and win in South Africa."

The striking mural features a jubilant England supporter painted in red and white, and the World Cup trophy.

Mr Bray, a father of two daughters, said his football-mad family all supported the plan to give the house its drastic makeover.

Lois, 12, plays for local side Ashton Girls and he hopes five-year-old Kadence will follow in her footsteps and grow to love the sport.

Mr Bray, who owns a drainage engineering company, saw another graffiti mural on the front of a tattoo shop and contacted the artists to work on his house.

But as the family are planning to move, the England tribute will be covered up once the national team's World Cup bid is over.

Mr Bray said: "I'm no more of a fan than anyone else round here, I just really want us to do well.

"It's not going to take a lot to cover it up when we get knocked out."
