Shawbrook names CFO

Shawbrook Group has revealed that Dylan Minto has been appointed as the bank's chief financial officer (CFO).

Dylan has served as interim CFO since Tom Wood departed the role in June.

Since joining Shawbrook in 2013, Dylan has played a significant part in the group’s IPO preparations and the development of its 2020 strategy evolution.

Shawbrook also revealed that Dylan had been appointed as an executive director of the group.

Steve Pateman, CEO of Shawbrook, said he was delighted to confirm Dylan as its CFO and stated that Tom’s successor had been instrumental in the success and achievements Shawbrook has had since 2013.

"Dylan's experience within the group, the relationship he holds with investors and analysts, and his wider involvement in the sector prepare him well for the CFO role.

“In addition, Dylan's exceptional standards and values mean he will be an increasingly important leader at Shawbrook and one I look forward to continuing to work with.”

Before joining Shawbrook, Dylan was at KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant and worked on a number of major UK and European bank resolution projects.

Dylan said he was delighted to be taking on the CFO role at such an exciting time in Shawbrook’s evolution.

“The group has a clear vision through to 2020, which is firmly understood by its people and delivered through its approach to the poorly served markets it operates in.

“I look forward to working with Steve and the team through the next phase of the group's journey to ensure we deliver on its significant potential."
