John Wheeler joins Century Capital

Bridging lender Century Capital has announced the appointment of a new head of business development.

John Wheeler has once more teamed up with Paul Munford, CEO of Century Capital, with whom he worked alongside when he launched bridging lender Omni Capital in 2010.

John brings over 35 years of experience in the UK finance and banking markets, of which 17 were spent in the short-term bridging and development sectors.

“I am thrilled to be working with John again,” Paul stated.

“His experience and knowledge of the industry will be a great asset to Century and I am sure he will only bring us further success.”

John worked with Paul who launched Omni Capital, now known as Fortwell Capital, with the help of Liz Locke, a former contestant on BBC’s The Apprentice.

In his new role, John will be expected to structure complex scenarios and provide attractive solutions to clients’ requirements.

Nick Hilton, head of lending at Century Capital, added: “John’s enthusiasm and understanding of our clientele and their requirements is invaluable to us and we are very pleased to welcome him to the team.”

The announcement comes just months after Century Capital revealed that it was on the hunt for a new business development manager.
