Simon Juniper at Only Bridging

He wanted to play for Spurs, so obviously dislikes Arsenal, and loves a gangster story. Miranda Atty speaks to Simon Juniper at Only Bridging...
1. How long have you been at Only Bridging and what did you do previously?
Only Bridging began two years ago. Before that I worked for a secured loan company called flexi loans for 12 years, and prior to that I was a manager at First National Bank.
2. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
A Spurs footballer.
3. If you could do anything you wanted this Sunday, what would it be?
I would take my kids down to Devon in a caravan, my son Alfie loves it there.
4. Which football team do you support and why?
Spurs – I was born next door to the grounds.
5. What is the best and worst thing about your job?
The worst thing about my job is probably working all hours, especially because I work from home, have three kids and live on a farm. Honestly, the best thing about my job is the money.
6. If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
A cat – I love them, they get to be really independent but also sit around and sleep all day.
7. What’s your favourite movie and why?
I love Braveheart. It’s a great action movie but also a love story as he’s fighting for his wife.
8. What do you expect to happen in the bridging finance industry over the next 12 months?
I think it’s going to go through the roof. The industry’s just going to grow and grow – it’s phenomenal now and it’s only just going to get bigger.
9. What would you put in room 101 if you had the chance?
The whole Arsenal team and anyone who supports them, rude people and chihuahas.
10. What’s your favourite book?
Anything by Martina Cole, I love gangster books.
